A: To make a reservation at the Hilton, you can call either Wendy at 808-932-4567 or Travis at 808-932-4550. Your other option is to write an email to ITOhn_res@hilton.com. That is their direct email. Please let them know you are booking for The Thornton Union.

A: The Hilo Airport is the closest airport to the venue.

A: We appreciate that you are considering to get us a gift. Our gift registry can be found here on our website. It will be completed by November 1st.

Q: Do you suggest we stay on the Kona side or Hilo side of the island?
A: We highly suggest BOTH! The night of the Welcome Gathering/Ceremony we suggest you stay in Hilo, and if you want to experience the beaches of the Big Island we recommend staying on the Kona Side of the island. We are a big fans of the Kona side and highly recommends not missing Kona while you are on the island. Also don’t forget to check out the Volcano it is a must see!
Q: What is there to do and do you have any restaurants you recommend?
A: Soon we will list our favorites things to do and must sees. Stay tuned for a full itinerary, full of amazing suggestions. There will be a tab here on the website that says, Must Do. We look forward to sharing our favorite places with you and spots we fell in love. Q: Can all invited guests attend the Welcome Gathering? A: Yes, all guests are welcome at the Welcome Gathering. Q: Is the Welcome Gathering formal? A: It is semi-formal. The venue requests collared shirts and Dress attire. Q: What are the colors for the wedding so I know what to wear? A: Our colors are mostly Black, Champagne, and Blush Pink
